Silksong Memorium walkthrough
How to complete Memorium in Hollow Knight: Silksong.
Memorium is one of the more pleasant late-game areas in Silksong. It functions as a museum of sorts, showcasing all of the areas you've been exploring in Pharloom and creatures you've been adding to your bestiary. As a result, there's nothing in Silksong's Memorium that you won't already be used to dealing with.
That said, there are hidden passages, items, and a particularly large lost Flea to find that can be easily missed. To ensure that doesn't happen, here's our Silksong Memorium walkthrough.
Silksong Memorium walkthrough
Your adventure through Memorium should ideally begin from the Bench at the very top of Cogwork Core. If you are yet to visit there, however, you can rest at Choral Chambers' First Shrine before coming to Memorium instead. Either way, both Benches are fortunately quite close to the region!
Assuming you are at the Cogwork Core Bench, you want to jump up into what was the Cogwork Dancers' arena and head right. You'll very quickly come to an area where you can go upwards using double-jump and enter Memorium.
Once in Memorium, you're at the very beginning of what is a lovely trip down memory lane, as this area is an amalgamation of all the areas and enemies you have witnessed so far in Pharloom.
First things first, we're going to unlock the Memorium Map and Bench!
Unlock the Memorium Map and Bench
From where you enter Memorium, you want to go upwards and through an exit on your right (pictured below).
You now need to keep heading right through the following area – which looks a lot like The Marrow – until you exit again. Be careful at the end of the room, however, as you'll encounter your first Rhinogrund enemy here and they're a real pain.
Once you exit the room, head downwards, and go right where the Map signpost is.
In the following room, you'll be able to purchase the Memorium Map for 70 Rosaries, but that isn't all that there is to do here.
To the left of the rightmost lantern in this room, there's actually a hidden passage above that you can explore using the Faydown Cloak.
If you have The Lost Merchant Wish (collected from Songclave's Wish Board) active, you will find – and need to rescue – Jubilana from the area beyond this passage.
Further right of where you find Jubilana, there's also a breakable wall leading to the region of Putrified Ducts. We're not going to do either of these right now, but remember this location for when you wish to visit Putrified Ducts or need to rescue Jubilana!
Exit the room containing the Map. Outside, break the glass window to the left of the Map signpost and exit.
In the next room, keep left until you reach the very end of the path – destroying the vines that block your path along the way – and you'll quickly reach the Memorium Bench.
There'll also be some Moss Grove enemies to kill or avoid along this path, as well as a Mossberry to grab.
Now that we successfully have the Bench unlocked, we want to go back on ourselves through the path filled with Moss Grove enemies, so that we're outside of the room that contains the Map again.
Collect the Memory Locket
When you are standing outside of the room that contains the Map, you want to head upwards to the very top of this chamber, where there'll be an exit to your left.
You'll now find yourself in a room that looks a lot like Shellwood. You want to go to the left-hand side of this room to reach a Memory Locket. To do that though, you'll need to complete an unpleasant bit of platforming past some Gahlia enemies.
Once that's done, return to the centre of the room – just before the Gahlia enemies – where there is a white flower above you that you can pogo off of.
Unlock the Memorium Ventrica Station
If you pogo off the white flower here to reach the platforms above (shown below), you should see a breakable piece of ceiling above you.
Attack this to reach Memorium's fourth floor. On this floor, there is a breakable wall on either side of the room.
On your right, there are two horrible Crustcrag enemies and a lore tablet you can read, but nothing else. To continue, go left and run past the Crustcrag and Driznit enemy to the next exit.
We're off to unlock Memorium's Ventrica Station, but first, we need to unlock a shortcut back to the Bench. Head downwards next!
At the bottom of this passage, there are some vines on the right-hand side of the floor that you can destroy, allowing you to quickly climb up here if you die and are returned to the Bench!
To continue, head upwards again to where you entered the room. Make a note of the broken window on your left, as we'll be coming here as soon as we've unlocked the Ventrica Station.
From the broken window, continue ascending until you reach another exit above it (shown below), while being careful of the electrified volt vessels along the way. Enter, and you'll find the Ventrica Station, which can be unlocked for 80 Rosaries.
With that done, exit the room and jump back down to the broken window we mentioned previously (pictured below).
Collect the Spool Fragment
We're off to collect a Spool Fragment next, which is unsurprisingly behind an unpleasant platforming segment. In the next room, keep left then glide downwards (there's spikes at the very bottom of this chamber to be wary of). There'll be a few exits to your right, but none of them lead anywhere.
Slowly pass through the exit at the bottom of this chamber, and you'll quickly see what I mean by unpleasant platforming…
In this area, you want to use a combination of the Clawline Skill, Faydown Cloak, and your Drifter's Cloak to safely make your way through this spike-covered passage. At the very end, you'll be rewarded with a Spool Fragment.
You can then destroy the vines beneath the Spool Fragment to fall into a room containing a Massive Mossgrub, who is ideal for quickly farming some Silk should the spiked passage we've just been through rob you of all of your Masks.
From the Mossgrub, head right to encounter yet another Massive Mossgrub. Once they're taken care of, destroy the vines blocking the exit on the right-hand side of this room. Then, exit to end up back where you first entered Memorium.
We now want to head all the way back up to the Ventrica Station, using the convenient shortcut we unlocked earlier.
Collect the Voltvessels Tool
Opposite the room containing the Ventrica Station and above the volt vessels, there's a window you can break.
Destroy the window to reveal a new room you can enter and head on inside. In this room, there are electric currents you'll need to pass using some carefully-timed jumps.
After the Voltvessels, you'll be in a strange room full of jarred Pilgrims. Keep right, ignoring the lever above you for now, to retrieve the Materium item.
Look at the wall to the right of where the Materium was, and near the top, you should see a breakable piece of wall. Destroy this and head further to your right to walk into a very brief gauntlet against some Choirbugs.
Once they're felled, you'll be able to retrieve the Voltvessels Tool from the altar in this room.
With that done, go back on yourself into the room full of jarred Pilgrims, and use the lever in this room to head upwards.
Rescue the lost Flea
In the following passage, head left again. Then, head upwards through the vents to eventually arrive at an enormous Flea trapped inside of a cage.
A word of forewarning before freeing this fella: he will immediately become hostile upon being freed and you will need to fight him.
Fortunately, he's not too troublesome to take down and you can seek safety by going beneath the platform he is on.
After successfully defeating this Flea, he'll take himself off to the Flea Caravan and that's everything in Memorium wrapped up!
