Netflix and Bill.
Red Read Redemption will next month receive a free update for current gen consoles, as well as a release across mobile devices and Netflix.
Yesterday an ESRB rating for the game was spotted, hinting some form of release was on the way. Rockstar then confirmed the news shortly after.
The game will be available from 2nd December across PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch 2, with a free upgrade from previous versions and a number of enhancements. Game progress will carry over.
Those enhancements include 60fps, enhanced image quality, HDR support, and up to 4K resolutions on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Additionally, the Switch 2 version will support mouse controls.
The PlayStation version of the game will also be available on PS Plus from 2nd December.
On mobile, Red Dead Redemption will arrive on iOS and Android devices and will be available to Netflix members as part of their subscription.
All versions of the game include the zombie Undead Nightmare expansion and all content from the Game of the Year Edition.
Rumours have also been circulating of a Switch 2 port for Red Dead Redemption 2, though this is yet to be officially confirmed.
Rockstar has been accused of union-busting after firing 31 workers, which UK trade union the Independent Workers' Union of Great Britain (IWGB) has alleged is unfair dismissal of staff. The union has mounted a legal claim, which yesterday reached the UK parliament. A signed letter to Rockstar management has been signed by over 200 employees at Rockstar North.
