Pokémon Legends Z-A Goomy location
Where to get Goomy in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
Goomy in Pokémon Legends: Z-A is a Dragon-type Pokémon with a purple, flesh-like appearance. Though their later evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Sliggoo and Goodra, become a lot more Dragon-like, as well as a lot more… gooey.
That said, if you're looking for a solid but slimy Dragon-type to add to your party, then Goodra definitely fits that bill, even if evolving Goomy into them might take some time. Here's where to get Goomy in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, and how to evolve them.

Pokémon Legends Z-A Goomy location
Goomy can be found around Lumiose City, typically near the city's rivers on rainy days.
They can also be found in the Lumiose Sewers easily – without the need for it to be raining – once you gain unrestricted access to those during Side Mission 57 - The Camerupt Entrepreneur. This Side Mission becomes available following Main Mission 20.
The first location you can try to find a wild Goomy (while it is raining) is the river in Vert Sector 9, pictured below.
The second location you can try to find a wild Goomy (again, while it is raining) is by the river beside Vert Street, just south of Vert Sector 5. This is pictured below.
The third location you can more reliably find a wild Goomy – regardless of the weather – is in Lumiose Sewers, which you can freely access following Side Mission 57. You'll also find the likes of Skrelp, Noibat, Litwick, Patrat, and more down here, so it's worth fully exploring once you have a chance to do so.
How to evolve Goomy in Pokémon Legends Z-A
Once you have your hands on a Goomy, it's time to evolve them into Sliggoo and later, Goodra. Their evolution chain is as follows:
- Evolves into Sliggoo at Level 40.
- Evolves into Goodra at Level 50 during the rain.
As you can see, Goomy's final evolution – Goodra – is only available at Level 50, and can only be completed if it is raining or thunderstorming in Lumiose City. There's unfortunately no known way to control the weather at the time of writing, so you'll need to wait to encounter rain naturally, or keep resting at a bench to pass the time until rain occurs.
Good luck getting and evolving Goomy in Pokémon Legends: Z-A!
