How to get the Dawn Stone in Pokémon Legends Z-A

The Dawn Stone is one of many illusive items in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. It's rather tricky to find, with most known methods of getting this Evolution Stone being exclusive to Pokémon Legends: Z-A's late-game and post-game content.

How to get Dawn Stone in Pokémon Legends Z-A

The Dawn Stone is an Evolution Item in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, but like the Ice Stone, it's not super easy to get your hands on. The only methods of acquiring a Dawn Stone in Lumiose City are:

• A reward from Side Mission 90 - Froslass's Unfinished Business.
• Purchasable from the Stone Emporium during the post-game.
• Found around Lumiose City as loot.

As you can see, the first two options for acquiring a Dawn Stone – Side Mission 90 and the Stone Emporium – are only accessible once you're deep into Pokémon Legends: Z-A's story or starting to wrap it up.

Dawn Stone location #1

The first Dawn Stone is found on the rooftops of the shopping plaza in Rouge Sector 2.

Travel to Restaurant Le Wow and head right around the corner to find some scaffolding to climb. Climb it, and once on the roof, you should see the dome of the shopping plaza directly in front of you and grass surrounding it. If you jump down onto this grassy patch, the Dawn Stone is found in a corner on this level (pictured below).

Dawn Stone location #2

The second Dawn Stone is found atop the scaffolding between the buildings in Rouge Sector 1, just southwest of Wild Zone 3.

Dawn Stone location #3

The third Dawn Stone is found on a small rooftop in Jaune Sector 6, directly southeast of Wild Zone 8. Fast travel to the Wild Zone and head right, where you'll find a ladder - to the west of the building pictured on the map below - that will give you roof access.

Dawn Stone location #4

The fourth Dawn Stone is found atop some scaffolding in the Vert Sector 4 courtyard. This is directly behind/east of Cafe Classe, and easily accessed using the Holovator just south of the Cafe.

To reach the Dawn Stone here, you'll need to carefully jump down to the crate that it is on top of from the surrounding rooftops.

Dawn Stone location #5

The fifth Dawn Stone is found in the corner of a courtyard in Bleu Sector 5, directly west of Wild Zone 12. To reach this courtyard however, you'll need to venture through Lumiose City's underground.

Fast travel to Nouveau Cafe (Truck No. 2) and turn around. You should see a staircase leading to a watery underground passage - full of Magikarp - in front of you. Go down the stairs and through the path on your right to emerge in the courtyard where the Dawn Stone is located beside a lamppost.

Dawn Stone location #6

The sixth and final Dawn Stone can be found in end-game location, Lysandre Labs, in front of a desk. You'll need to use a Teleporter in the east of the area to access this room (pictured below).

Pokémon that evolve using Dawn Stone in Pokémon Legends Z-A

There are only two Pokémon that evolve using the Dawn Stone in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, and they're as follows:

• Evolve Snorunt into Froslass
• Evolve Kirlia into Gallade
