Amaura is one of three Fossil Pokémon available in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, later evolving into Aurorus, which means this particularly majestic Rock/Ice-type Pokémon isn't at all hard to get. Instead, all you need to add this 'mon to your Pokédex is $20,000, which isn't hard to come by at all in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.

Evolving Amaura is a little less straight-forward however, but to help you with that, here's our guide on how to evolve Amaura in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.

How to evolve Amaura in Pokémon Legends Z-A

To evolve an Amaura in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, you first need to get an Amaura which isn't done by conventional means of battling or catching one. Instead, you'll need to have completed Side Mission 27 - Restored From a Fossil at the Pokémon Research Lab, which allows you to restore Pokémon from Fossils.

Once that Side Mission is done and dusted, you can take Fossils to the Pokémon Research Lab (more specifically, the lab on the second floor) at any time to have them restored into Pokémon. To get Amaura, you'll want to restore the Sail Fossil, which costs $20,000 from the Stone Emporium.

Restoring the Jaw Fossil and Old Amber will get you Tyrunt and Aerodactyl respectively, for what it's worth.

Evolving Amaura into Aurorus

Once you have an Amaura that you wish to evolve in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, you'll want to wait for nighttime and consider using some EXP Candy (which you can buy from Quasartico Inc using Mega Shards). This is because Amaura only evolves into Aurorus at Level 39 during the nighttime.

If your Amaura reaches Level 39, then it's worth fast-traveling to or waiting for nighttime. Once night arrives, you'll be able to open your menu and evolve your Amaura into Aurorus at last!
