Rogue Mega Venusaur recommended level
Rogue Mega Venusaur Level is 53, therefore we recommend being between Level 51 and 58 to take them on. If you’re below this level it is possible to take them on, but try to build your team around their weaknesses instead, and if you’re at a higher level then this fight should be a bit easier for you.
Rogue Mega Venusaur boss strategy
To prepare for this battle you’ll ideally want to build your team around Rogue Mega Venusaur’s weaknesses, which are Flying, Fire, Ice and Psychic-types. However, you should also make sure your inventory is filled with Revives and HP potions because Venusaur really hits hard.
As we said earlier, Rogue Mega Venusaur has the ability to restore their own HP while also launching a devastating move. This is why we recommend being patient with this fight and only attacking Venusaur when it’s safe to do so.
Remember you can use your Mega Ring to Mega Evolve once it’s full. If you’re at a lower level than Rogue Mega Venusaur then we recommend waiting for your Mega Evolution and don’t use Plus Moves before this. However, if you’re at an equal level to or higher than them, then you can use a bit of your Mega Ring’s charge to use Plus Moves.
- Bullet Seed (Grass-type) - Venusaur will fire out seed bullets from their mouth at their targets. The easiest way to dodge this is to keep running to the side away from the direction Venusaur is currently facing.
- Vine Whip (Grass-type) - Venusaur will whip out its vines around itself and they have quite a far reach. If you see them tilt their head slightly and raise their back up, you should really get away from them as far and as fast as you can.
- Leech Seed (Grass-type) - Venusaur will stand still and start getting green charges around its feet. They'll then release large spores into the air that will turn into brambles once they hit the ground. Watch them while they're in the air to avoid getting hit and don't get too close to them when they're on the ground. You need to focus on clearing these Brambles!
- That's just the beginning of this move too, after a short period of time Venusaur will gain HP from the brambles! Once it has done this, it will draw charge into itself and unleash a mighty beam from its mouth. Keep moving around the outer area of the battle zone to avoid getting hit with this, Venusaur will constantly turn to target you so just keep moving.
For defeating Rogue Mega Venusaur you’ll be rewarded with Venusaurite. This is the Mega Stone you need to Mega Evolve a Venusaur during battle.
