Clefable is a fan-favourite Fairy-type so it's no surprise to see them return in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Getting your hands on a Clefable requires some work though, as you'll first need to track down a Cleffa and then spend some time evolving it, which has multiple unique steps as opposed to simply leveling it up in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.

To help you out with doing just that, here's how to get Clefable in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, and how to get Clefablite.

How to get Clefable in Pokémon Legends Z-A

First things first, to get a Clefable in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, you'll need to capture a Cleffa or Clefairy.

In the early to mid-game, you can capture a Cleffa on the rooftops around Lumiose City. More specifically, you can often reliably find one on the rooftop pictured below, in Rouge Sector 5.

Later on in the game, you can catch both Cleffa and Clefairy in Wild Zone 19 during the nighttime. They'll also be much higher-level than their rooftop counterparts.

Evolving Cleffa into Clefairy

Once you have your hands on a Cleffa, you'll need to evolve it into Clefairy, which is done by raising your Friendship Level with the Pokémon. This means spending time with them at cafes and restaurants, not letting them faint, and feeding them Rare Candy or EXP Candy.

Evolving Clefairy into Clefable

Once you have your hands on Clefairy finally, all you need to do to evolve it into a Clefairy is give it a Moon Stone.

If you don't yet happen to have a Moon Stone in your Satchel, here's how to get a Moon Stone in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.

Once you do get your hands on a Moon Stone and give it to Clefairy, they'll then finally evolve into Clefable.

How to get Clefablite in Pokémon Legends Z-A

It's fortunately quite easy to get your hands on the Clefablite Mega Stone in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. All you need to do is head to Quasartico Inc. and hand over 240 Mega Shards.

That said, you will need to have reached Main Mission 31 for the Clefablite to become available for purchase from Quasartico Inc.
