How to get Oak Wood in Winter Burrow
You can find Oak Wood in the area between Aunty's House and Bufo's House in Winter Burrow. You can collect this as soon as you get your first Axe.
You're looking for dark green logs, these are Oak Wood. If you hit them a few times with your Axe they will burst into smaller pieces which you can collect.
If you enter the area from Aunty's House and follow the path around, you should very quickly find your first set of Oak Wood sitting in a bend. You can then easily find another set of it next to the campfire on your way to Bufo's home. Also, there are a few more Oak Wood logs littering the path to Bufo's home - so you can get quite a nice stash in one outing.
