Hazelnuts in Winter Burrow are yet another type of ingredient that you can pick up on your adventures.
You can just snack on Hazelnuts as they are in Winter Burrow to give yourself a little boost until you make it back to saftey. However, we recommend holding onto them until you can use a cooking recipe to boost their effects, like turning them into a Hazelnut Biscuit.

How to get Hazelnut in Winter Burrow
We've found the best place to get Hazelnut in Winter Burrow is south-west of your Burrow, in the area where you find Willow.
To find this area, exit your Burrow and head south-west until you reach the next area. In this area, keep heading south-west, then west until you come to a point your path is blocked by Granite boulders. Use your Granite Pickaxe to break through them and rest at the fire here if you need to. You can find some Advanced Kindling in the backpack beside it, and the crafting recipe for Advanced Kindling is the scroll in front of it.
From here, head south into the next area - this is where you can start to find Hazelnuts. You can find Hazelnuts randomly on the ground in groups of two or three as you're wandering around.
However, to get the most in one outing you should look for a Hazelnut tree. They have thick branches, dried leaves on them and often will have a few Hazelnuts on the ground at their base. It's worth remembering that if you choose to cut down a Hazelnut tree then you need to be prepared to wait a while for it to re-grow, so if you want to keep the tree in tact we'd recommend just picking ones up from the ground for now.
