Honedge location in Pokémon Legends Z-A

Honedge in Pokémon Legends: Z-A is a Ghost and Steel-type Pokémon you can add to your Pokédex very early in your adventure around Lumiose City.

However, if you want eventually evolve Honedge into Aegislash then you'll either need to be very lucky or wait until you're further along in the Pokémon Legends: Z-A story to get the item needed for it.

Honedge location in Pokémon Legends Z-A

Honedge is located in Wild Zone 4 in Pokémon Legends: Z-A at night, which is unlocked from the beginning of the game. You'll not find them during the day, and even at night they can be quite tricky to find in this Rouge District Cemetery. You can also find them in Lysandre Labs, but the Wild Zone is the earliest place you can find one.

We found our Honedge floating above a grave on the west side of the Wild Zone, though it's worth checking across the area each night to find one.

How to evolve Honedge in Pokémon Legends Z-A

Evolving Honedge into Doublade is pretty simple, however reaching its final form of Aegislash requires a specific item to do so:

• Honedge evolves into Doublade at Level 35.
• Doublade evolves into Aegislash with a Dusk Stone.

If you don't yet have a Dusk Stone to give to your Doublade, here's how to get a Dusk Stone in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.

For gaining EXP to turn Honedge into Doublade, you can use EXP Candy and Rare Candy to speed things along. Remember, you can also exchange Mega Shards at Quasartico Inc to get some, or simply explore Lumiose and complete Side Missions to earn more.
