Plus, the Dragonair evolution level.
Dragonite in Pokémon Legends: Z-A is one of the many Pokémon you'll need to get by evolution if you want to add more to your Pokédex.
This Dragon and Flying-type is a little bit easier than others to get, especially as it doesn't need an Evolution item to become Dragonite in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. You can Mega Evolve them too if you've got the Mega Stone!
On that note, here's how to get Dragonite in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, including the Dragonite evolution chain and how to get Dragoninite.

How to get Dragonite in Pokémon Legends Z-A
To get Dragonite in Pokémon Legends: Z-A you must evolve them from a Dragonair. Dragonair evolves into a Dragonite at Level 55. However, to get a Dragonair you must evolve them from a Level 30 Dratini first - luckily we have a whole page showing you how to get Dratini.
For gaining EXP to turn Dragonair into Dragonite, you can use EXP Candy and Rare Candy to speed things along. Remember, you can also exchange Mega Shards at Quasartico Inc to get some, or simply explore Lumiose and complete Side Missions to earn more.
Pokémon Legends Z-A Dragonite evolution chain
This is the evolution chain for Dragonite in Pokémon Legends: Z-A:
- Dratini evolves into Dragonair at Level 30.
- Dragonair evolves into Dragonite at Level 55.
How to get Dragoninite in Pokémon Legends Z-A
Once you've got a Dragonite Mega Stone, you can always Mega Evolve them if you've got Dragoninite. You can get Dragoninite by defeating Rogue Mega Dragonite during Main Mission 32.
Now, you need to be a bit patient and work your way through some of the Main Missions before you reach this point, but it's worth the wait.
That's all for now! If you're looking for more Pokémon Legends: Z-A help, check out our pages showing you how to evolve Haunter, how to get Audino, and how to get Goomy.
