Simpsons bosses are three powerful adversaries you can encounter and fight across Springfield in Fortnite's The Simpsons season.

Beyond the opportunity to collect the powerful loot they drop when defeated, finding a boss is part of the Springfield Stories questline after completing the destroy signs changed by Homer challenge.

The difficulty is boss spawns aren't guaranteed - though you can visit their frequent locations to improve your chances.

This guide explains where to narrow down the locations of Simpsons bosses Krusty, Evil Homer and Witch Marge, as well as elite guards across the map.

Fortnite boss locations: Where are Simpsons bosses in Fortnite?

Bosses in Fortnite's The Simpsons season are uncommon to rare spawns across the map, and to make things difficult, their positions change every match.

Confirmed possible spawn locations of Simpsons bosses can be found in the following map:

Bosses don't appear on your mini-map until you get close, and when you are near enough to engage a fight, a health bar will then appear. In our experience, boss locations can also appear mid-match as well as at the start - so keep your eyes peeled as the storm draws in, not just upon landing.

As mentioned, they won't spawn reliably every match - but exploring the above locations should be your first port of call to help improve your chances.

How to improve your chances of finding boss locations

The best tip we can recommend is driving a vehicle and exploring the map along the locations above, keeping an eye on the mini-map for one of their icons as you go.

Generally, bosses tend to appear in the south and west sides of the map. Furthermore, though some bosses tend to appear in some spots more than others - see below for their most common locales - they can interchange, meaning even if you come across a boss, it might not be the character you're looking for.

Ultimately, finding bosses isn't easy. When you do, to complete the associated Springfield Stories quest step, get close and perform an emote in your locker. (In our experience, you might have to do this several times to get it to register.)

Krusty locations

Krusty tends to be found in the vicinity of Springfield Town Square or in the Springfield Slurpworks. Krusty's spawns interchange with Witch Marge more than Evil Homer, and will drop a special version of the Mr. Blasty weapon when defeated.

Witch Marge locations

Witch Marge can appear in similar locations to Krusty - Springfield Slurpworks, and the region around Springfield Town Square - but can also show up on the south side of Evergreen Terrace. Witch Marge drops an enhanced tier weapon upon defeat.

Evil Homer locations

Evil Homer's position overlaps less than the other bosses, and can appear on the west side of the central ravine and Cletus's Corn Hole. You'll receive an enhanced tier weapon upon beating Evil Homer.

Where to find elite guards

Though the Springfield Stories 'emote' quest is specific to the three bosses above, there are other boss quests you can complete this season by tracking down elite guards instead, who are easier to come by.

To do this, wait until one of the KBBL Towers 'activates' - you can see this with an icon on the map - and then pay it a visit. This works the same as the Forecast Towers from previous seasons, with mini-bosses patrolling nearby who carry a keycard, which you can take to the tower to uncover the location of future circles for the rest of the match.

These patrolling enemies are Dober Men, and these are classed as bosses for the purposes of some of this season's challenges. They won't have the same useful loot, but at least they are more likely to appear.

Best of luck with the boss hunt! If you haven't already, be sure to tick off the use a Zero Point dash by consuming Blinky Fish challenge to give you an XP boost.
